Hill Country Inspections

"houses tremble when they hear my name"

How Do I Schedule an Appointment?

The best way is call me directly at (512) 331-5470. My schedule changes quickly and the best way to get a time slot that works for both of us is to talk directly. My cell phone is a semi-permanent attachment to my body and is even answered at times that upset my wife....like during dinner.

How Much is a Great Inspection?

My fees are based on the square footage of the house, additional systems like pools and sprinklers, and additional services like Termite Inspections, Septic Inspections and Pumping, etc. Call for a quote.

Are You More Expensive Than Other Inspectors?

Sometimes. My fees are commensurate with my experience. An Inspection is not an oil change at Jiffy Lube that requires no special skills and knowledge. It is a Professional Service that requires years of experience, licensing, and continuing education.

As a leader in the industry having served past terms as a Board Member of the Texas Association of Real Estate Inspectors (TAREI), past Chairman of CT TAREI, and several professional advisory councils, I have had the opportunity to mentor and advise many new Inspectors in the industry.

I will be happy to give you the names of inexperienced and underachieving Inspectors who would be thrilled to PRACTICE on your property for a REDUCED fee. Give me a call at (512) 331-5470. I do, however reserve the right to talk you out of such foolishness.

You Mentioned Septic Inspections. Do You Inspect Septic Systems?

Hell, no! That's not why I went to college and have spent years learning Building Science. I will be happy to schedule a septic inspection for you using only the finest olfactorily challenged dudes I know.

Are You Serious?

Yes. Mostly.

Do You Go in Attics, Crawl Spaces, and Creepy Places?

Yes. The creepier the better. It's why I make the big bucks. And more importantly, it's the ONLY way to be thorough and examine every last crevice of the house for you. There's important, and sometimes, VERY important stuff in those creepy places. And furry things with red beady eyes. And spiders. I hate spiders.

Do You Go on Roofs?

Yes. If it is safe. Metal roofs, tile roofs, and super steep roofs are the exception. I do not wish to cause damage to the roof surface, or me, if I can avoid it.

Do You Use a Ladder?

You obviously have never met me if you have to ask this question. I have a ladder. I use the ladder. I do not always NEED the ladder.

How Tall Are You?

Real Darn. I like to think of it as 5'-18". (do the math)

Do Houses Really Tremble When They Hear Your Name?

Yes. But we always end up friends.

Do you use your awesome Super Human Inspector Powers for Good or Evil?

;-)

Are You Done, YET??

Yes. Thanks for reading all the way down here.
